These terms apply to commercial cleaning services provided by The Spruce Company Limited ("Spruce", "we", "us"). The specific scope, schedule and pricing for your site are set out in your service agreement, which sits alongside these terms.
Our services
We provide the cleaning services described in your agreed scope of work. The scope sets out the areas, tasks and frequencies for your site. Changes to the scope are agreed between us in writing.
Quotes and pricing
Quotes are based on the scope agreed after a site walk-through. Pricing may be reviewed if the size, condition, frequency or requirements of the site change materially, and any change is agreed with you before it takes effect.
Access
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the site at the agreed times, including any keys, access cards or alarm details we need. We treat access and security arrangements as confidential.
Your responsibilities
You agree to let us know of any site-specific hazards, and to keep the areas to be cleaned reasonably clear so the work can be carried out safely and effectively.
Insurance and liability
We hold public liability insurance and carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to re-performing the affected service or the value of the affected service. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under New Zealand law.
If something is not right
If you are not satisfied with any clean, tell your account manager promptly and we will put it right, usually before your next scheduled visit.
Cancellation
Either party may end an ongoing agreement with the notice period set out in your service agreement. One-off jobs may be rescheduled or cancelled by giving us reasonable notice.
Payment
Invoices are issued by The Spruce Company Limited on the terms set out in your agreement. The same company invoices you whether the work is residential or commercial.
Governing law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law.
